| Memorial Weekend Sunday we took a beautiful
ride from Bass Lake along the Senic Byway to take in the snow capped
mountain vista and the quiet roads and peaceful surroundings.... we
got more than we bargained for. 73 miles and about 7100' of climbing. |

 |
| Although we did not intend to be so close to snow (or get stuck
in it) .. this may be great training for our high altitude riding
days across America. |
The above photos are from our weekend ride from home (Santa
Clara) to the top of Mt. Hamilton down the back side to Livermore.
We spent the night in Livermore then the next day road to Pleasanton for
breakfast then by Calaveras Resevoir to home. Total 135 miles. |
